Who we are

Tryc Event Trailers is a trading name of Abersea Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14405456). Registered office: 5 Wensley Close, London, N11 3GU. Abersea Limited is responsible for your personal data under UK data protection law.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we collect what you give us: usually your name, phone number, email address, event or delivery location, dates, and details of what you need.

If you hire from us, we also keep the booking details, invoices and payment records.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote. We do this because you asked us to (taking steps before a contract).
• To deliver, set up and collect your hire, and to invoice you (to carry out our contract with you).
• To keep accounts and tax records (because the law requires it).

We don't sell your details, we don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't use them for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Netlify, who host this website, receive the enquiry form and pass it to our email. Netlify is based in the United States and protects data sent there with the safeguards UK law requires.
• Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive.
• Our accountant, for booking and invoice records.

The website also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

Cookies

We don't use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may show a small "Powered by Netlify" badge; if you hide it, your browser remembers that choice on your own device.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 2 years. Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them (unless we have to keep them by law). You can also object to how we use them. Just email us and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
